High School Confidential's Seventh Episode Raises Relevant Issues of Anorexia, Cutting and Family-Life on Monday, April 21 at 10pm | 9c on WE tv
WE tv's seventh episode of the critically-acclaimed series High School Confidential ("…remarkably unfrilly and frank…" - Entertainment Weekly; "…a touching series…" - New York Post) premiering Monday, April 21 at 10pm I 9c features Cate, her stepsister Beth and Lauren B. Cate is a competitive athlete who tries to adjust to her father's remarriage after her mother passes away. Her new stepsister Beth is in the same grade and the two begin high school as friends. But blended families are not easy, as both girls come to learn, and a divorce seems probable. The struggles of family drama and teen life take a toll on Cate, who develops an eating disorder and begins to cut herself. When Beth's mom brings Cate's issues to her father Rick, he intervenes to get her the help she needs. By senior year Cate is on the road to recovery, but the relationship between her and Beth has become strained. In contrast, Lauren comes from a very stable family. Her academic focus ignites a passion for politics, and the desire to go to an out-of-state college. Will she get accepted or be stuck in Kansas? (See full description below).
