CGSCF Board of Trustees Celebrate Foundation Growth, Continued Success in 2007
The board of trustees of the Command and General Staff College Foundation (CGSCF) recently conducted their annual board meeting at Fort Leavenworth. The members of the board kicked off this year's meeting by recognizing three Army officers and two faculty members of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College for their achievements during the 2006-2007 academic year. Other business conducted during the meeting included a briefing on how to position the foundation to conduct a capital campaign. The CEO commented that the Foudation had made as much progress in five months in 2007 as compared to all 12 months of 2006. The foundation is still relatively young, but has been working hard to support the needs of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. - 2007-06-29
