Safety Think Offers Unique Child Guard Alarms for Proactive Parents

Safety Think Inc. announces that it is now a reseller of the Child Guard child safety device. With all of the recent news stories involving this device can provide piece of mind to proactive parents. The Child Guard alarm is a toy shaped tranmitter that attaches to your childs clothes. The parent has the receiver and sets a desired distance. If the child wanders or is drawn outside of that distance then the alarm sounds on the parents key chain sized device.

Hudson, OH, July 29, 2002 - Safety Think Inc, an Ohio based distributor of innovative safety products such as the Emergency Beacon light bulb, has added the unique Child Guard Alarm to its product offerings. Designed as a proactive warning device to prevent children from traveling outside a safe zone, the Child Guard is a cartoon-animal shaped transmitter worn by the child. It sends a constant signal to the receiver, which is held by the adult. The signal is adjustable - from a distance of 6 to 30 feet, so when the child goes beyond the set distance, the adult's receiver starts to beep, letting them know that the child is starting to wander off or has been moved outside of the safe distance.

"It's a great aid to proactive parenting," said Gary Maher, president of Safety Think. "While we would all like to, it's impossible to keep a physical eye on a child at all times. This device allows parents piece of mind in that they can easily and unobtrusively ensure their child stays with them and safely within their view. Most simply it avoids the fear and panic that accompanies a lost child, most importantly it helps keep them safe."

The Child Guard comes with Lithium batteries included and has frequencies that adjust themselves automatically to alert the proper receiver if more than one adult is in the same area using the Child Guard monitoring system. It features cutting edge microchips produced by SMTŪ technology which perform with superb accuracy and are incredibly reliable. The IC unit is nicely hidden in a small plastic animal (looks like a toy cat) and can be concealed very easily under a shirt or jacket if desired.

Available for a reduced price of $19.95 from Safety Think Inc. at www.safetythink.com, the Child Guard units are available in blue, pink and yellow. The devices can also be purchased by calling 1-866-SAFETY4 (1-866-723-3894) or by emailing Safety Think at info@safetythink.com. Group and quantity discounts are also available.

Safety Think Inc. was formed by two firefighters and features innovative safety products for the home and business. Safety Think is also a primary distributor for the Emergency Beacon Light Bulb, making homes easier for safety forces to find. For more information call 1-866-SAFETY4, or email info@safetythink.com
