800-WE-CATER Inc. provides a web site and toll free number, which assists individuals or organizations in locating a suitable caterer for their upcoming event, for free! Located on the World Wide Web at http://www.800wecater.com since 1995, this service allows an individual to fill out a simple online form which provides the details of their upcoming event (i.e. type of event, number of guests, etc.) or they can call the toll free number and be directed to a quality caterer in their area. The staff at 800-WE-CATER then matches the event details with caterers listed in their database. If a suitable match exists, they contact the individual or organization with details about available caterers, including approximate price quotes, availability, etc. In addition, there are caterers in many area codes within the USA that will answer calls to the 800-WE-CATER phone number. Calls that originate in these area codes will terminate directly at a caterer's location rather than at the 800-WE-CATER location.

We saw a need for a service which would save people both time and money in planning for an upcoming event. Weddings, graduations and corporate functions take a lot of time and effort, and many times individuals just dont know who to call or where to begin", says Lori Zamory, marketing director for the 800-WE-CATER service.
