Irish Screen + American Cinematheque to present Jim Sheridan's IN AMERICA
Irish director Jim Sheridan to present his new film IN AMERICA on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at the American Cinematheque.
(PRWEB / PRWEB) November 14, 2003 -- The Irish Screen and The American Cinematheque will be presenting a special advance screening of Jim Sheridan's new film, IN AMERICA, at 5:00pm on Saturday, November 15 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California.
IN AMERICA is the fifth film from Oscar-nominated writer/director Jim Sheridan (MY LEFT FOOT, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER) and stars Samantha Morton, Djimon Hounsou, and Paddy Considine. Loosely autobiographical, IN AMERICA is the story of an Irish immigrant (Considine) who moves with his wife (Morton) and daughter to a rundown New York apartment so that he can pursue an acting career. The film has already earned three British Independent Film Award nominations, including Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director. IN AMERICA will be released by Fox/Searchlight on November 26th.
Mr. Sheridan will be attending the screening and conducting a Q+A afterwards.
