FERRARI, LAMBORGHINI AND OTHER EXOTIC CARS DISPLAY ON PARK AVENUE, WINTER PARK TO BENEFIT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY.

WINTER PARK, FL (PRWEB) September 22 2003- The second annual WINTER PARK CONCOURS dELEGANCE" will take place on Winter Parks fashionable Park Avenue, Sunday October 19th.
The event is presented by Lexus of Orlando and the host hotel is the Ritz Carlton Orlando.

   Festivities begin on Saturday with the Tour of Winter Park" which will see 65+ exotic cars and their drivers on a drive throughout picturesque downtown Winter Park. Stops along the way include the WINDSONG development for pastries & coffee and a luncheon for over 120 guests and car owners at the Ritz Carlton Orlando.

   Later that evening car owners, sponsors and other guests will attend a charitable, Black Tie evening Gala at the MAISON & JARDIN RESTAURANT in Altamonte Springs. The gala is presented by BARI FOODS of Orlando. This elegant affair will feature a lavish display of food and spirits, a live band, display of exotic cars and a live and silent auction to benefit HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF GREATER ORLANDO. A highlight of the evening will be when organizers auction the original oil painting which was used to create the commemorative event poster for this years show.    The main attraction for automotive enthusiasts will be the Concours delegance" which takes place on Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm. Over 130 rare and exotic cars will be parked for display on Park Avenue. Admission is free. Featured will be an impressive selection of automotive marques including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Porsche and others. Mr. Frank Triarsi of FERRARI OF CENTRAL FLORIDA had this to say… We are delighted to support this fantastic event and are looking forward to displaying some of our finest Ferraris and Maseratiss, I am especially pleased to announce that we will have one of the very rare Ferrari Enzos" on display as well" The Ferrari Enzo is considered by automotive experts to be one of the worlds most sought after Super cars". Also adding to the excitement will be the unveiling of the new Lamborghini GALLARDO by ULTIMATE MOTORWORKS of Longwood. To help raise funds for this years charity, raffle tickets are being sold for $125.00 each with the winner receiving both a 2004 MERCEDES-BENZ E-320 and a 2004 HARLEY DAVIDSON FATBOY. Ticket sales are limited to just 2000 with all proceeds going to charity. Attending the concours will be some very well known names in the automotive world including Mr. Tom du Pont of the du Pont REGISTRY and Mr. Kurt White among others.

   According to Chip Weston, Winter Parks Director of Economic and Cultural Development, We are delighted to have this extraordinary event here once again in Winter Park. We are looking forward to a long lasting relationship with both the show organizers and the owners of these magnificent cars." When asked how they could possibly top the success of last years event, show organizers stated that last years show while very well received was just the first test of what could be accomplished. This year the show has been expanded to include an even more impressive display of the worlds super cars as well as a new Italian super bike and American Hotrod display. Over 30,000 people attended the concours last year.
    
   As for entertainment, attendees can expect to stroll through Central Park while enjoying smooth Jazz and a ringside" view of the cars. In addition, merchants will roll out the red carpet with wine tastings, special store sales and other unique events.
