Los Angeles (PRWEB) November 20, 2004 -- TBN, the world's largest religious network and America's most watched faith channel, is rolling out the red carpet Thanksgiving week" with over 20 films and holiday specials for the entire family! This weeks hot tickets include the broadcast television premier of the inspirational film Joshua" and the national Christian talent search Exalting Him 2004."

Movie: Abraham; Monday 7 pm (PST)
From the pages of the Old Testament comes the powerful story of Abraham, the founder of the world's most practiced religions - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam - and his family's struggle to accept their new faith. Starring Oscar-nominee Richard Harris ("Unforgiven," "Camelot"), Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Barbara Hershey ("Hannah and Her Sisters," "Portrait of a Lady"), and Oscar-winner Maximilian Schell ("Judgment at Nuremberg").

Movie: Joseph; Tuesday 7pm
Based on the Old Testament story of the prophet Jacob, Joseph rises above treachery and enslavement to lead his people out of famine. Academy Award-winners Ben Kingsley ("Gandhi," "Schindler's List") and Martin Landau ("Crimes and Misdemeanors," "Ed Wood"), Oscar-nominee Lesley Ann Warren ("Victor/Victoria," "Choose Me") and Paul Mercurio ("Strictly Ballroom") star in this epic adventure.

Movie: Jacob; Wednesday 7pm
After tricking his older brother out of his birthright, Jacob leaves home in fear for his life. Upon seeing Rachel's beauty for the first time, he forgets his past and only dreams of his future with her. Penniless and unemployed, Jacob offers Rachel's father the only thing he can give for her hand in marriage - manual labor for seven years. But Uncle Laban is a treacherous and selfish man, and on what should be the happiest night of Jacob's life, Laban orchestrates the ultimate deceit. Rachel must watch as Jacob is forced to start a family with another. Jacob must work for his conniving uncle for close to two decades to win the love of his life. Their freedom is another matter.

Movie: Joshua; Thursday 7pm Broadcast Premiere
A man arrives in a small town. At first, no one knows his name; no one knows where he came from. He's strong. He's smart. He's "easy on the eyes." The locals want to call him a stranger, but when they meet him he makes them feel quite the opposite - like they've known him their whole lives. Joshua is seemingly everywhere at once, making the kind of impression that few have ever felt. But it is exactly this influence that creates a division between the stubbornly orthodox Father Tardone and the well-meaning but less-than-confident Father Pat, two priests who believe very strongly in the same thing but in very different ways. When the reluctant priest finally recognizes the way and finally says the word through a whisper and a tear, it comes with a force of a revelation.

Movie: David; Friday 7pm
An action and adventure-filled epic about a distinguished military leader whose reign was touched by great scandal, shocking betrayals, and rousing victories, DAVID presents one of the Bible's most thrilling and ageless tales. David (Nathaniel Parker) is a simple shepherd boy chosen as king of Israel under the watchful eyes of the prophets Samuel (Leonard Nimoy) and Nathan. His rise to power is met with tests of adversity - from the battle with the Philistine giant, Goliath, to personal threats from King Saul (Johnathan Pryce). David's 40-year rule is driven by unstoppable ego, unwavering desire, and a drunken sense of entitlement. He is plagued by tremendous battles, betrayals and loss - from his forbidden and passionate love with Bathsheba (Sheryl Lee) to his struggles with enemies both within and without.

Movie: Saint Joan; Saturday 7 pm
A French teenage girl is inspired by divine intervention to lead the King's armies to victory. However, jealous rivals turn her devout belief and miraculous accomplishments against her, sentencing her to be burned at the stake for heresy and setting the stage for her sainthood. The film is based upon the play by George Bernard Shaw and adapted for the screen by Oscar-nominee Graham Greene ("The Fallen Idol"). It stars Oscar-nominees and Golden Globe-winners Richard Widmark ("Kiss of Death") and Richard Todd ("The Hasty Heart") and Oscar and Golden Globe-winner Sir John Gielgud ("Arthur," "War and Remembrance"). Saint Joan marks the feature premiere of Jean Seberg ("Airport") and is directed by legendary Oscar-nominee Otto Preminger ("Laura").
