Pat Payne Releases "Horses" In Europe
Pat Payne announced this week that his music CD Horses" will be re-released in Europe by Thanksgiving. Also to note, Pat has recently released a new CD with Gospel music as well. He is very excited about these ventures.
Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) November 21, 2004 -- Pat's music career began at a very early age; singing, playing a guitar and entertaining. From his early performances at the Oklahoma Opry, everyone knew he was going to succeed. He has become an accomplished writer, musician and entertainer that all can relate to through the simplicity of his lyrics. His message stands for the common people, yet still remaining just "Plain Ole Pat". As with other artists who have performed at the Opry, his exposure there allowed him to expand his talents in many different directions. He has performed on shows with Charlie McClain, Joe Stampley, Mel McDaniels, The Texas Playboys, Billy Montana, Henson Cargill, Merle Haggard, Kitty Wells and Ricky Skaggs. One of Pats best buddies is Buck Page, founder of The Riders of the Purple Sage".
Recently, Pat wrote and performed three songs in the movie "Waitin to Live" directed by Joey Travolta. In addition to that, he produced the song "Two's the One" used on a promo commercial for Tulsa Channel Two weatherman Dan Threlkeld. Like other independent artists who are trying to get their music played, he has ventured to the Internet for air time, instead of the local radio airwaves. He is being played regularly on Wholewheat Radio, an Internet radio station that prides itself on promoting independent artists.
By day, Pat is an independent contractor in home repair. He has earned quite the reputation as a man who can get the job done. No job is too big for him, no matter what it takes. By night his tool of the trade is his guitar. He is playing the clubs in Oklahoma City as the audience cheers him on. Recently Pat had the privilege of closing out the first show at the opening of Grant's Rodeo Opry located in Oklahoma City's historic Stockyard City.
Pat has high hopes with the re-release of his "Horses" CD in Europe, and his new Gospel CD. He has applied for a passport and is ready to play his first gig in Europe. Like other independent artists, he has not signed with any major record label. He has opted for selling his music on the Internet with CDBaby instead.
