Distant Echoes proves to be a great read, a great ride.

Exciting new novel Distant Echoes reported in the Broward Sun-Sentinel newspaper and featured on Comcast Vision Latino Show. This new book has developed a fan based not only in Florida, but as far reaching as Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Davie, FL (PRWEB) July 14, 2004 -- New author, Nilsa Pagan, is quietly stirring up this summers reading list with her book titled Distant Echoes(PublishAmerica, 10/03). Born in New York and living in Florida since 1982, Ms. Pagans book has been featured in the Sun-Sentinel April 14, 2004 Broward issue (Celebrations section) and on the Comcast Vision Latino Show with Elizabeth Londono(05/10/04).

The thrilling plot of this book is heightened by the authors ability to describe the suspense her protagonist lives through, making the reader feel every nuance of his surprise, fear and ultimate victory. The books main character, Joe Miller, a struggling New York writer, makes a frightening discovery. He finds an old photo of a girl who bares a striking resemblance to his fiancé Margaret. Suddenly, as his novel unfolds, dangerous scenarios he masterfully creates find a parallel occurrence in his own life and times. He begins to fear the moments of inspiration that draws him to his typewriter, but morbid curiosity pulls him towards the voices of his imagination, as the characters in his novel take him on a journey and a muse he cant control. Distant Echoes are sounding a warning of past dangers, but how will he recognize their modern counterpart? Herein lies the pull and fascination that has compelled readers to recommend it as this years best summer read.

The Davie Update Journal(04/29/04) reported that Ms. Pagan was born with an urgency to write, and that urgency is well spent in this books unfolding plot which takes place in a dual time-line, describing exciting events occurring in 1880 and their imaginative counterpart events of our 21st century. I couldnt put it down and Its a page turner are expressions commonly used to describe Distant Echoes.
