ASW Services Expands to Offer Hazardous Materials Storage

Complete supply chain service solutions provider in NE Ohio expands service to include Chemical Handling Management with Haz Mat storage and handling, logistics management, 4PL lead logistics, sampling, repackaging and Foreign Trade Zone storage.

AKRON, OH (PRWEB) July 18, 2004 -- ASW Services, Inc., providers of storage and warehousing services for over 50 years, recently announced the expansion of services to include specialty chemicals and hazardous materials storage.
   
“We’ve added this service at the request of several of our existing customers,” explained John Myers, Vice President of ASW Services. “Because of our reputation for being an outstanding supplier of warehousing, storage, logistics, and outsourced labor, several customers asked us to expand our services to include Haz Mat materials as well.”
   
The Haz Mat service is provided in a separate self-contained facility. The building complies with all applicable NFPA guidelines and is operated in accordance with Responsible Care(R) principles. ASW Services is an active member of the Council of Chemical Logistics Providers in the International Warehouse Logistics Association.

In addition to investing in an upgraded facility, ASW Services hired Mike Costello to oversee ASW’s expansion into the specialty chemicals marketplace. Costello has over 25 years experience in chemicals industry with companies such as Procter and Gamble and Seegott Inc.
