Defining the Carsonator.com Podcasts

An interview with Jason Carson, the creator and producer of Carsonator.com.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) September 19, 2005 -- Jason Carson invites you to an open Pod-Casting call at Carsonator.com. Join him as he sets off in creating an international community of entertainment, music, and pure fun with new, edgy technology called Podcasting. His listeners already agree.

"It's fun and exciting to create a podcast. Getting into a person's ear is a very intimate thing," acknowledges Jason Carson, "and being that close and personal with the listeners, you know they can detect when a person is not being real. Therefore, I feel I need to create a foundation based on trust."

Frank, from the Netherlands has, took time to email Jason directly stating, "I really enjoyed listening to your Podcast."

"I can't get enough of the Carsonator. Bring it on," shouts Karen, California listener. "What he brings to the table makes me laugh or makes me think. Either way, I am hooked."

Podcasting is a format for publishing audio broadcasts via the internet. "Podcasting" is a linguistic term that combines the words "broadcasting" and "iPod." Since neither podcasting nor listening to podcasts requires an iPod or any portable music player, the term can seem misleading.

"What is exciting about Podcasting it allows me to subscribe to feeds," states Nancy Brown, Arizona Carsonator listener. "Soon you will be able to listen to them podcasts on your phone. I think this is great."

Podcasts became popular in 2004 largely due to the ease of downloading audio to new technological advances and the popularity of the iPod and MP 3 players.

Allowing independent producers to create self-published, syndicated "radio shows," giving broadcast radio programs a new distribution method which allows unlimited creativity. Listeners can subscribe to feeds using "podcatching" software, but the real beauty of being a Podcast subscriber is that any digital audio player with audio-playing software can play podcasts. With increasingly new technology for personal digital devices, such as Sony's PSP, podcasting is likely to continue to evolve and grow exponentially .

Jason Carson's unique background certainly makes his Podcasts independent and one-of-a-kind. His blending of musical talent and creative genius mixed with his love of new technology made Podcasting a natural draw to him. "When Podcasting, I feel you need to remain true to what you are doing. However, you still need to take risks to stand out in this new landscape. It is also very important to me that listeners can offer up ideas and suggestions to make my Podcasts even more entertaining. I want Carsonator.com to be an organic community."

Jason goes on to say, "There are other guys out there doing what I am doing on a daily basis. They have to go to work, support a family and make time to get things done. They can relate. I just decided I needed to put a voice to that daily grind and I am pleased that many have chosen to listen to Carsonator.com."

Carson often finds himself carrying his recorder with him and cracks the mic when something hits him or something funny occurs. Jason Carson feels that real life experiences and thoughts is what Podcasting brings to the table. Moving away for the current stale radio format that many MP3 and iPod users have turned away from due to advertising and over used formats dominating the airwaves.

Jason Carson found himself listening to Podcasters like Adam Curry and BicycleMark and soon Jason Carson became intrigued with the new internet personalities emerging and what they had to say. Quickly he found himself wanting to put a voice to his life and bringing along friends and listeners. The Carsonator.com has begun to hit it's stride.
