Music & Motion in collaboration with Magician, Michael Bonacci provides one of the best family entertainment experiences there is for this Halloween season. Utilizing jazz and improvisational dance, choreography has been set to a selection of Halloween favorites.
The program is fast paced and alternates between dance pieces, and large scale illusions as well as comedy magic. Great music, upbeat dance numbers, fun costumes, magic, theatrics and a few special effects thrown in make this a "must see" for the whole family.
Magician Michael Bonacci has been working as an entertainer and a magician for over the last thirty-five years in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, performing at various functions for all ages. He is skilled in all areas of magic interacting with close-up, strolling magic or stage magic using birds, comedy and illusions. Michael has studied at the Chavez College of Magic, Hollywood, CA. and theatre at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania and theatre at Montgomery County Community College.
What sets Michael Bonacci apart from other magicians is the fact that he is an entertainer first and a magician second. He has the sense of music, theater, costuming and style and a way to blend these elements into a crowd pleasing performance."
Music & Motion Dance Productions is a non-profit corporation, which is both owned and operated by teens with mentoring from outside corporations and individuals. It is a group of pre-professional dancers ages fourteen thru eighteen, who have expressed an interest in pursuing dance and the performing arts. Under the artistic direction of Steven Weisz, this group's mission has been to empower young people through dance and creative collaboration in the performing arts, building self-esteem and inspiring self expression and community action.
To that end, Music & Motion performs locally and in surrounding communities throughout the year, as well as performances in a fully professional atmosphere presented for corporations, museums, gardens, and live arts related venues. Music & Motion fulfills the need for providing young dancers with performing experience in a nurturing environment, while continually exciting audiences wherever they perform. The collaborative efforts of the entire company create a synergy rich in imagination, celebration and spirit.
