Exhaust Sampling Manifold Simplifies High Performance Motorcycle Tuning

A simple exhaust analysis accessory speeds up a time-consuming procedure.

Orange County, CA (PRWEB) October 18, 2005 -- It is becoming standard practice for motorcycle mechanics to individually tune each of the engine's cylinders. Recognizing this fact, XaustAlyzer.com has an indispensable tool to make this complicated procedure easier.

Their Exhaust Sampling Manifold is a simple product for connecting a gas analyzer hose to each of engine's cylinders. A valve is used select each cylinder to tune its fuel delivery, combustion, and exhaust for optimum performance.

The product consists of exhaust port adapters, sample hose fittings, high temperature sample hoses, and a valve assembly. It is available in two and four-cylinder configurations for Yamaha and Ducati motorcycles.

Connecting the gas analyzer's probe to the output side of the valve assembly allows independent exhaust gas measurements for each cylinder. The probe connection fits any of XaustAlyzer.com's exhaust gas analyzers, but the fittings can be changed to work with analyzers from other vendors.

The Exhaust Sampling Manifold is a natural for dyno-tuning applications, where engines are performance-tested under various load conditions. This kind of analysis causes extremely hot exhaust temperatures, a condition that can be corrected with the addition of Dyno Gas Cooling Extensions. These are stainless-steel extension tubes that cool the exhaust gasses to avoid damage to the rest of the exhaust analysis equipment.
