Amy Grant's December 2 Three Wishes Program Features the Story of Colton Chase Meyer
Richard Mash Racing Stands With Ms. Grant to Help Out Colton
Taylorsville, NC (PRWEB) November 29, 2005 -- Many of you might remember the story of a young fellow by the name of Colton Chase Meyer. Much of the NASCAR community came out in support of little Colton as he struggled to find a cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa. In case you don't know, Colton Meyer is well known in the racing community. He's gotten to meet the likes of Four-Time Winston Cup Champ Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He's even featured in the "Chicken Soup for the NASCAR Lover's soul.
Then, about six months ago, the ARCA RE/MAX Series team called Richard Mash Racing became involved with Colton's cause as well. Team Manager Joe Tisi states, "Colton Meyer's story is inspiring. We want to support and help Colton in any way we can." Mr. Tisi goes on to say, "Our blind PR Director is wanting to bring other blind race fans into the industry. Colton's just the start."
Colton Gets "Three Wishes"
After everything else that has happened, now there's something else that has come along to make little Colton smile. Amy Grant's NBC broadcast, "Three Wishes", will be featuring the story of young Colton Chase Meyer. The program airs on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 9:00 p. m. EST. Check your local listings for when "Three Wishes" will be shown in your location.
As you would imagine, Colton's family is overwhelmed with joy regarding this opportunity. Colton's Mom Laura writes in her journal, "So am I thrilled at the prospect of my son being on the show? You bet? Although I was not happy taking the sick days to do the show, I know it was something I needed to do for my son.
