18 Karat Reggae Gold 2006 Goes Digital Early

18 Karat Reggae Gold 2006 is now available at all major digital music download sites. On top of the early digital release, songs from the album are also available for free downloads at http://myspace.com/reggaegold2005.

(PRWEB) December 21, 2005 -- This year reggae fans will not have to wait until the weather starts warming up for their hearts to be warmed with the beautiful musical sounds from Jamaica. In fact for all the reggae lovers who already have or are planning on buying or receiving a digital music player soon, they have a lot to be cheerful about. Yes indeed, this year 18 Karat Reggae Gold 2006 is getting a very early release. To prove its weight in gold the album is also called 18 Karat Reggae Gold. With 18 tracks on the album it can be assumed that each track represents a karat of gold. While the physical CD is not yet available and probably wont be until about June 2006, all the MP3 lovers can lick their chops and rejoice. Reggae Gold 2006 is already available at places like ITunes, Yahoo Music, MP3 Tunes and other leading digital music download stores.

18 Karat Gold 2006 is a mix of party songs and what is referred to as ‘Bun Babylon’ music. But unlike previous reggae gold albums, 18 Karat Reggae Gold 2006 is taking no prisoners and they are calling out names. In the catchy ‘Black Princess’ by Bookman, the artist states:

"Man a Kunta Kinte, don’t call me Toby
I don’t chase white women like Kobe
India Arie you are so sweet and lovely
Britney Spears you are ugly"

Such lyrics is not surprising coming from Bookman as he is the same artist who referred to Colin Powell as "George Bush’s little slut" in the song ‘Stepping Razor’. Then there is the song by Vineyard which should be listened to by anyone who feels like they are having a hard time coping with peer pressure. The song is called ‘You don’t have to be like them’ and contains lyrics of courage and will power such as: ‘You don’t have to be like them to impress them. If it means you stand alone take your stand and make it go suh (so) then. A Jah we a defend’

The ‘Mad driver’ by King Jango is another classic that should not be mixed. This song is very funny and veteran DJ Shabba Ranks had this to say about the Miami based artist. ‘Since the heydays of Professor Nuts a DJ has never made me laugh so much'.

So reggae lovers, no need to wait until June of 2006, just run over to your nearest digital download store (that should be right over at your computer) and enjoy all the great music that 18 Karat Reggae Gold 2006 has to offer.
