Akron, OH (PRWEB) February 17, 2005 -- Attorneys Julie A. Schafer and Melissa B. Carr are pleased to announce the formation of Schafer & Carr Co., LPA., a professional legal association serving Northeastern Ohio and primarily, the Greater Akron Area.
    
Ms. Schafers practice focuses on domestic relations and family law, business formation and general business law, will preparation and probate administration, bankruptcy and juvenile dependency/neglect/abuse cases. Ms. Schafer earned her J.D. from The University of Akron, her MBA from The University of Akron, and graduated summa cum laude from Hiram College. Ms. Schafer is actively involved in the community, currently serving her sixth year on the Copley- Fairlawn Board of Education and earned Awards of Achievement for her participation from the Ohio School Boards Association in 2001 and 2002.
    
Ms. Carr will be concentrating on employment discrimination/wrongful termination, sexual harassment, juvenile law, landlord/tenant law and general civil litigation. She earned her J.D. from The University of Akron, serving on the Law Review Board and graduating cum laude, and her Bachelor of Arts from Heidelberg College, graduating magna cum laude. Ms. Carr is actively involved with the Street Law program at her alma mater, Norton High School.
