The Somervell County Expo Center in Glen Rose, TX will be host to the 2005 Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America Spring Show.

(PRWEB) March 4, 2005 -- The Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America will be having its Spring Show on March 11-13 at the Somervell County Expo Center in Glen Rose, Texas. The show will be a dual affiliate show, with both the North Texas and East Texas affiliates showing together. Over 300 longhorns are expected to be present.

The show will start on Friday at 2:00 PM with the North Texas Longhorn Association showing their haltered class, followed by the non-haltered class. The Saturday show ends in the evening with a dinner and dance that is available for both participants and spectators for $10.00 per person. The Fort Worth country band, The Insiders, will provide the music.

The last day of the event is Sunday, March 13 and will consist of the showing of the haltered and non-haltered classes by the East Texas Longhorn Association.

This show is a world qualifying event, which means that the top 3 places in each division and class will qualify to compete and the World Show in June 2005.

Contestants and spectators are invited to stay next door at the Dinosaur Valley Inn and Suites (www.dinosaurvalleyinn.com). All TVs are equipped with a live closed circuit video feed from the Somervell County Expo Center.
