(PRWEB) April 18, 2005 -- Playing blues harmonica and keyboards, this award winning vocalist and songwriter releases another catchy southern rock radio single that is bound to inspire change of mind, heart and lifestyle.

Multi-instrumentalist and award winning songwriter and vocalist Mary Wiles, who has been hailed by the press as one of the Pacific Northwests hottest attractions on the country music scene, recently released "Why not Take a Chance" on the Bluetail Records label, which is nationally distributed by Faithworks. "Little Bit Closer", a new single from the album, will be released to radio May 1 through HMG Nashville Promotions. Mary plays the blues harmonica and all keyboards on this single.

This is an upbeat, southern rock tune with a catchy chorus, in which Wiles motivates lifestyle changes to reach personal goals and a happier life through faith. Head and shoulders above most artists signed these days, Wiles plays seven instruments on this album and wrote all the songs, two of which have already won songwriting awards. Wiles has won multiple songwriting, vocal, and performance competitions from the likes of Billboard. Playing strong harmonica, banjo, mandolin, violin, guitar, slide, and keyboards on the album, she delivers genuine, powerful lyrics with a wide vocal range.

The album is already receiving national radio airplay with her last single, Worship Avenue", a gospel tune that highlights Wiless excellent harmoncia playing. Recorded in Seattle, Wiles hometown, and mixed in Nashville, the CD contains inspriational rock, pop, gospel and country. Wiles, who has opened for Loretta Lynn, Tracy Byrd, and the 60s hit group "The Association", has also performed at international events such as the Goodwill Games. Mary Wiles CDs can be purchased at your local Christian bookstore or on her website at www.MaryWiles.com.    Pictures and music samples are available at the media center on her website, MaryWiles.com.
