The iCAT Moves Headquarters to York

Ignition system specialists for motocross professionals, Motiv International Ltd, announces its new international headquarters in the UK and a name change for the famous iCAT electron catalyst.

(PRWEB) June 7, 2005 -- The world's leading motorsport spark enhancement manufacturers, Motiv International, has moved its headquarters as part of increased investment into the its premium product the iCAT.

The move sees the appointment of a new managing director and sales and marketing manager at new offices in York, United Kingdom. Other changes in the pipeline include a repositioning of the iCAT brand to iKAT.

Motiv moved its headquarters from Northampton to Yorkshire recently to pull marketing, sales and administration of its products under one roof. The manufacturing division remains in place in the UK's motorsport alley", in Buckinghamshire.

The managing director of Motiv, Mr Steve Wood, said the changes illustrate Motiv's commitment to improving the iKAT product, service to distributors and customers worldwide.

"We are excited about the future of the iKAT and its ability to become the benchmark all spark performance manufacturers have to chase," Mr Wood said. "The iCAT has already proved itself in the market as a 'must have' performance addition for world champion riders, particularly in motocross," he added.

Sales and marketing manager, Mr Simon Hawkins, will be driving many of the improvements earmarked for Motiv in 2005 and for forthcoming announcements with the brand change to iKAT.

Mr Hawkins, who has more than 15 years sales and marketing experience, is working with key distributors of the iCAT and looking at potential markets where the product is not so well known.

"On the strength of the number of champion motocross riders who love the iCAT, we are investing time and money into delivering the new iKAT brand and the benefits of an invigorated company to the market.

"I am extremely positive about the future of the iCAT as it moves up a gear and into new markets," Mr Hawkins said.

The iCAT, which is a patented ignition system enhancement, delivers a more powerful spark and subsequent benefits include: more responsive horsepower delivery, more torque, cleaner emmissions, improved fuel economy and cooler running.
