TitleTrader.com Adds Two New Features to Media Exchange Site

New features allow members to more easily search and trade books, DVDs, CDs and video games.

Millsboro, DE (PRWEB) June 9, 2005 -- Today, the online media trading venue TitleTrader.com unveiled two additional features to its media exchange community at www.titletrader.com. TitleTrader.com is an online community that allows members to list books, DVDs, CDs and video games to exchange for other items. The new "Saved Searches" feature stores users' searches and notifies them when a matching item is listed on the site. TitleTrader.com's "BuddyList" feature allows users to keep track of other members' inventories. By adding a user to their "BuddyList," members can easily search though the inventories of other members with similar interests.

"Our users are constantly amazed at the hidden treasures you can find on TitleTrader," explained co-founder Daniel Abercrombie. "Users have to check back often to make sure someone else doesn't get that item they've been waiting for. These features, along with some already available, will help keep our users informed about the new items on the site."

Long time user Mike agrees, "I was waiting for a copy of 'Spider-Man 2' to become available for some time. The new features helped me know right when the item was listed on the site so I could request it right away."

"We find that members often find other users with similar tastes in books and movies, and like being able to see quickly and easily what other members have available for request," says co-founder Maggie Abercrombie.

Basic membership in TitleTrader's media exchange community is free, and users only pay the shipping on items they send out. For each item a user sends out, they receive a Request Point. Each Request Point allows the user to request an item from any other member. There is no need to reach an agreement with another person to make a trade because users swap with the database, not the other user. The site supports users from anywhere in the world, who may decide if they are willing to ship internationally or only domestically.

Since its inception, TitleTrader has amassed an inventory of over 19,000 items and over 1,200 members from all over the world. "There is no other swapping community that can provide such a large and diverse selection of media for trading," Daniel Abercrombie added.
