Motiv International Appoints Spanish iKAT Reseller

Manufacturers of the iCAT / iKAT Motiv is expanding its international distribution network of the spark enhancement device.

(PRWEB) June 28, 2005 -- Spanish motocross dealer Zambrana Motos, in Malaga, has been appointed as an official iKAT reseller.

Zambrana Motos is heavily involved in the Spanish motocross scene and support leading motocross racer Xavi Hernandez with the iKAT technology.

Manager of Zambrana Motos Paco Zambrana said the iKAT fits perfectly into the performance arenas of motocross and enduro, in which Zambrana Motos sponsors two teams.

The iKAT (formerly know as iCAT) manufacturer, Motiv International, United Kingdom, is working to establish a solid foundation of distributors and resellers.

The appointment marks a sea change in how the iKAT is perceived in the marketplace, according to iKAT sales manager Simon Hawkins.

The iKAT is muscling up in terms of production, distribution, sales and marketing," he said. This comes as no surprise to the professional riders who have long supported the iCAT. However, we are aiming to open up a global presence with quality representatives and support."

Mr Hawkins said he was very pleased to announce the Zambrana Motos appointment and the sponsorship of two racing teams, resulting from a direct approach from Spain.

The iKAT/iCAT is a patented device, which creates a bigger spark charge, dynamically changing the sparks shape at the spark plug. Champion riders such as Heath Voss, Christian Iddon, and now Spains Xavi Hernandez and David Lopez endorse the iKAT, which is known, as the pro-riders secret weapon.

Earlier this month Motiv International launched its new website to mark the rebranding of the iCAT to iKAT. Motiv also announced the appointment of a new managing director and sales manager at its new headquarters in York, UK.

Motiv is committed to further developments in performance ignition technologies. The iKAT is primarily sold as an ignition enhancement device for motocross however Jet Ski and Snowmobile racers also use it. Motiv also markets an industrial grade electron catalyst called the GBSixT, which is successful in the forklift truck market.

Other riders/teams who use the product include: Rob Herring, CAS Honda team, Paul Iddon, Stephen Sword, Tony Rickardsson, Jukka Pirinen, Niko Kalatie, Jocke Karlsson, Rizla Suzuki Road Race team, Redbull Rookies, the Australian CDR Team.
