Matching Numbers USA "The New Way To Find Old Parts" Is Back

Matching Numbers USA, "The new way to find old parts," is a nationwide automated searching, location and parts matching service.

Fresno, CA (PRWEB) July 11, 2005 -- That's right, Matching Numbers USA is back. Car hobbyists liked the idea and the matching service in the 80s and 90s, and will love it now. Check out www.matchingnumbersusa.com to see what this service has to offer in 2005.

Matching Numbers USA, "The new way to find old parts" is a nationwide automated searching, location and parts matching service that was started in 1989 by Chuck and Sue DeFiore.

Matching Numbers got its start while Chuck and Sue were restoring a 1955 Chevy. Some of the original parts couldn't be found by using regular classified ads, swap meets, etc. From that experience, the Matching Numbers concept was born.

The Matching Numbers USA database contains parts for sale and parts wanted. Each day the databases are crosschecked for matches. When the matches come up the customer is sent the information on the person who has the part he wants, and the person with the part is sent notification. Matches will not only take place between individuals, but the program will also be able to match those looking for a part with the appropriate business. Also new this time around is the ability to match folks looking for specific project cars with those who have them for sale.

As Chuck says "with a conventional classified ad, you are dependent upon someone physically finding where you placed it, then having to read the ads to find yours, and finally, taking action such as calling you. Matching Numbers USA actually matches buyers and sellers, taking the static process and making it active, thus stream lining the task of finding that part you need or that project car you want, usually saving both time and money."

As someone asked the other day, why did you stop and what made you start it up again. The original Matching Numbers was stopped due to some personal illnesses. As Chuck says, "The new version was started back up because of numerous requests by people while attending car shows. Folks remembered Matching Numbers and wanted to know if it was still available to help them with their projects. People were reacting to the Matching Numbers jacket Sue still wore. Having provided thousands of matches in the past and seeing that there was still a very strong interest in the service, the decision to bring Matching Numbers USA back to car hobbyists everywhere was made!"

The pricing structure is very reasonable, some say downright inexpensive. According to Chuck, "it's this way for a reason. We want hobbyists everywhere to be able to use the Matching Numbers USA service to help them find the parts they need or that special car they want." Moreover, all listings stay in the database until a match is found. Matching Numbers USA has special rates for car clubs so they can offer this as a bonus to their members and hopefully increase their membership.
