Nashville Recording Artist Steff Mahan to Perform at San Francisco Gay Rodeo & Festival
San Francisco Bay Area's 14th Annual Gay Rodeo & Festival--the Best Buck in the Bay--is excited to announce that Nashville singer/songwriter, Steff Mahan, will bring her sweet and soulful sound to San Francisco for two appearances on rodeo weekend.
(PRWEB) August 12, 2005 -- San Francisco Bay Area's 14th Annual Gay Rodeo & Festival--the Best Buck in the Bay--is excited to announce that Nashville singer/songwriter, Steff Mahan, will bring her sweet and soulful sound to San Francisco for two appearances on rodeo weekend. Kicking off the event, Steff will be appearing for one night only at the famous Harvey's (18th & Castro, SF) on Wednesday, September 14th at 8 p.m. She will then be the featured artist at on Friday, September 16th at the Cathedral Hill Hotel (1101 Van Ness Ave., SF) at 9 p.m.
After a year long U.S. tour to promote her debut album, the Nashville-based artist has released her second Lounge Hound Records project titled 42.50". Produced by Michael Grimes, 42.50" is a compelling collection of people, places, and stories from life on the road that rocks with the talents of Will Kimbrough, Brother Henry, and J.D. Wilkes of the Legendary Shack Shakers. Steffs debut album garnered national attention, creating a coast-to-coast fan base from LA to New York. It was famed New York DJ Jim Kerr who said youll soon be hearing the name Steff Mahan" during a live performance and interview on Sirius Satellite Radio. ABOUT THE BEST BUCK IN THE BAY
Best Buck in the bay is the annual rodeo produced by the Golden State Gay Rodeo Association - Bay Area Chapter. The GSGRA-BAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization chartered with educating the Gay and Straight community about the Country and Western Lifestyle through Rodeo, Dance and Royalty. The rodeo and festival will be held September 16 - 18 and provides numerous opportunities for the community to become involved.
