Motocross Ignition Enhancement Specialists Enter Italy

Motiv International, manufacturers of the world-famous iCAT motocross ignition enhancement have annouced the appointment of a distributor in Italy.

(PRWEB) September 15, 2005 -- Motiv International today announced the appointment of a further international distributor, MotocrossLAB.com of Milan, to sell and support the iKAT / iCAT system.

The news comes after creating distribution outlets in Spain, Holland, France, South Africa and the USA.

Motiv sales and marketing manager Simon Hawkins said the appointment of Maurizio Di Mauro (MD of MotocrossLAB.com) had followed increased interest in the iKAT in the Italian motocross market.

"The move into Italy has been fuelled by significant interest from a number of professional motocross riders," said Mr Hawkins. "We believe the testing results — once completed — will see the adoption of the iKAT as part of their racing armoury. We look forward to working with a number of the very successful Italian Teams in conjunction with MotocrossLAB."

The iKAT/iCAT is a patented device, which creates a bigger spark, dynamically changing the sparks shape at the spark plug. Champion riders such as Heath Voss, Christian Iddon, and now Spain's Xavi Hernandez and David Lopez endorse the iKAT, which is known as the pro-riders secret weapon.

Other riders/teams who use the product include: Rob Herring, CAS Honda team, Paul Iddon, Stephen Sword, Tony Rickardsson, Jukka Pirinen, Niko Kalatie, Jocke Karlsson, Rizla Suzuki Road Race team, Redbull Rookies, the Australian CDR Team.

The iKAT (formerly know as iCAT) manufacturer, Motiv International, United Kingdom, is working to establish a solid foundation of distributors and resellers throughout the world.

Motiv is committed to further developments in performance ignition technologies. The iKAT is primarily sold as an ignition enhancement device for motocross however Jet Ski, Quad and Snowmobile racers also use it. Motiv also markets an industrial grade electron catalyst, called the GBSixT, which is successful in the gas powered forklift truck market.
