Totally Texan Robin English Debuts a New Single, a New Video, and a New Deal on Aspirion/Brass Ring

Renaissance Road Warrior, Robin English tours with the release of a new musical project that is both authentic and engaging. Guitar-Harmonica-Texas Diva, Robin English, makes the whole world listen when she says, "Hello...Me".

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) May 13, 2006 -- Texas thunder-house, Robin English launches her radio tour, attends the ACM Awards in Vegas, and a new video on www.CMT.com! With a new record deal on Aspirion/Brass Ring Records, this “renaissance guitar-slingin’, harp swillin’ artist and a half” hits the road to promote “I’m the One”, as her new video for the song hits the country video channels.

Directed by veteran filmmaker, Eric Straton, who has over 40 films to his credit, pioneer status with MTV, and the one who created Diamond Rio’s “Meet in the Middle” video, “I’m the One” heads to the sultry gulf coast to present a mini-movie for Robin English’s debut single.

Robin English is a Texas treasure, who toured with Willie Nelson this past summer and won his heart with her parody, “Mama’s Don’t Let Your Cowboys Grow Up to Be Babies”. Her history doesn’t read as a typical country chick starlet. Education played a big part with studies at Santa Fe College and studies abroad in France. Her fluent command of her second language usually floors audiences (especially men!) when she slides easily into singing in French with her low “come a little closer” voice.

Her website features a contest to win a free Ipod, ways to join her mailing list, a blog, calendar, and music samples of her new CD set to hit stores in June ‘06. Robin English music and the new video are also featured at www.myspace.com/RobinEnglishMusic.

Her amazing musical prowess surprises practiced road musicians, who aren’t used to a ‘chick who can actually play’. With the spirit shared by singer/songwriters like Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan, Robin blends guitar and harmonica with haunting songs of truth and life on this project on which she wrote or co-wrote every song, and co-produced and mixed herself.

This “Jane-of-all-musical-trades” is a road-lovin’ troubadour who sings from the depth of her soul and always carries a wink in her pocket. From her biographical epic, “Cotton Field Girl” to the self-searching “Hello Me” to her home state love anthem “Yellow Rose In Me”, Robin English is real, robust, and ready to make her mark on a world hungry for authentic music.
