“Children’s Educational Network Makes Donation To The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund Founded By Oliver North”

Children’s Educational Network (CEN) announced a plan to donate 30% of revenue earned from the sale of their newly released kid safe TUKI Freedom Internet Browser to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, founded by Lt Col Oliver L. North, (USMC) Ret. This fund helps put the children of our fallen military heroes through college.

Escondido, CA (PRWEB) August 29, 2006 -- Children’s Educational Network (CEN) announced a plan to donate 30% of revenue earned from the sale of their newly released kid safe TUKI Freedom Internet Browser to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, founded by Lt Col Oliver L. North, (USMC) Ret. This fund helps put the children of our fallen military heroes through college.

According to Greg Writer, CEO of Children’s Educational Network, the company designed and developed this software with a patriotic theme and content to honor our country, pay tribute to the members of our armed forces and help the dependent children of our fallen military heroes.

“We were inspired to develop this unique product that protects children from the perils of the Internet as we became affiliated with the recent Sean Hannity Freedom Concert held in Chula Vista, CA. While participating as the lead sponsor, we learned about the extraordinary mission and history of this non-profit organization and immediately wanted to find a way to raise money and contribute,” said Writer.

The TUKI Freedom Browser software is another member to the TUKI family of kid safe software. The uniqueness of this version is its patriotic theme and content that educates children about our country’s history and the sacrifices our men and women in uniform went through to secure our freedom.

Like other TUKI software releases, the proprietary browser protects children from online predators, pornography, hate, violence and drugs and offers educational experience as well. As such it is much more than a simple Internet filter.

The annual subscription investment for the TUKI Freedom Browser™ software released a few days ago (http://www.TukiFreedomBrowser.com) is $47 and 30% of sales each month will be donated to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund.

Jane Barnett, Director of Donor Relations at the Freedom Alliance said, “When I first heard Greg’s proposal, I knew immediately it was a great idea to use for raising money towards our Fund. Our goals align perfectly with those of CEN and the Freedom Concert.” “We are very grateful for CEN’s generosity in contributing such a significant percentage of their sales to the Fund”, said Barnett.

“Now we can protect children from the perils of the Internet and support the men, women and children who have given us our freedom! This new release educates kids about our heritage, Presidents, our armed forces and war heroes within an exciting patriotic environment,” said Writer.

Children’s Educational Network also donated over 8,000 copies of the TUKI Freedom Browser to the attendees of the Hannity Freedom Concert on August 2nd and plans to extend the reach of this program through local businesses that will give additional software to their customers.

The TUKI Freedom Browser (http://www.TukiFreedomBrowser.com) utilizes unique technology that allows children to surf only safe, parental controlled, child appropriate websites, which is the safest and most reliable method according to industry experts. The browser also has a function called the “Internet Protection Module™” that prevents children from surfing the web with an unprotected browser, once the TUKI Freedom Browser.

The technology allows parents a great deal of personalization, permitting them to customize the browsers interaction with their children and tailor their Internet experience. The product works with any Internet Service Provider and built on the Microsoft Windows Operating System and Internet Explorer platform.
