Senza Limiti Acquires Ajax-based PHP Grid, Plans to Open Source It
Senza Limiti has acquired all rights to PHPScripts.se's PHP Grid component. It will re-release under an Open Source license and offer commercial licenses for inclusion in closed-source applications.
Bratislava, London (PRWEB / PRWEB) September 14, 2006 -- Senza Limiti, a consulting firm specializing in technology, research and new ventures for a global customer base of IT companies, today announced that they have acquired all rights to the PHP Grid from PHPScripts.se.
The PHP Grid is an Ajax –based table component that shows database information in a good looking, easy to use way. All user actions are performed in real time, on the client side, giving instant feedback and providing a desktop-like user experience. Among its features are Excel support and an automated print function that presents the table in a printable format. It also allows instant editing of database rows.
Senza Limiti will re-release the PHP Grid under an Open Source license on October 1st, 2006, hoping to create the de-facto standard for Ajax/PHP-based grid compoments. It will be avaiable on http://phpgrid.senzalimiti.sk. Senza Limiti will also continue to develop the PHP Grid and support its user. For inclusion of the PHP Grid in closed source applications, a commercial license will be available, following the MySQL model of dual licensing.
