100th Anniversary Pumpkin Show Mural Made in to Deck of Playing Cards

Treasure Isle (www.circlevillegifts.com) and “Real” Souvenir Playing Cards (part of Newt's Playing Cards) has introduced a deck of playing cards featuring the 100th Anniversary Pumpkin Show Mural.

Circleville, OH (PRWEB) September 25, 2006 -- Treasure Isle (www.circlevillegifts.com) and “Real” Souvenir Playing Cards (part of Newt's Playing Cards) has introduced a deck of playing cards featuring the 100th Anniversary Pumpkin Show Mural.

The 100th Anniversary Pumpkin Show Mural is currently being painted by renowned muralist and Circleville native, Eric Henn and is scheduled to be completed for the Pumpkin Show's opening ceremonies. This deck of cards features that mural on each card back.

Right now the deck of cards gives a glimpse of what is to come, later the deck will make a wonderful souvenir.
The court cards and tens feature 5 of Eric's prints on the faces. From his “big pumpkin” image with a farmer and his wife, to his Norman Rockwell looking image of a Circle City Dairy truck, Eric brings out the best of Circleville and the Pumpkin Show.

“As folks set their lawn chairs in front of the Pumpkin Show Mural to watch it being painted, they can grab a deck of playing cards and play a few hands of rummy,” said James Esteph, President of Newt's Playing Cards. “Right now the deck of cards gives a glimpse of what is to come, later the deck will make a wonderful souvenir.”

About the Publisher, Newt's Playing Cards
In 2004 Newt's Playing Cards offered its first edition Pumpkin Show Playing Cards with a normal deck of playing cards packaged in a souvenir tin. The cards were printed in a very low quantity and only sold a couple hundred.

In 2005 Newt's introduced a deck of “real” souvenir playing cards highlighting historical photos of Circleville Ohio. The deck was successful and ended up being the launching point for many other historical organizations to make their own deck of playing cards as a fundraiser. It is the dream of Newt's Playing Cards to bring back more of the historical look of “real” souvenir playing cards. (www.realsouvenirplayingcards.com)
