hfa Announces Promotions of Leaders to Newly Created Positions

To further strengthen its business-solutions expertise, hfa announces the promotions of three associates to newly created leadership positions.

AKRON, Ohio (PRWEB) October 10, 2006 -- SMARTER. FASTER. BETTER. Hitchcock Fleming & Associates Inc. (hfa), a full-service marketing communications firm in Akron, Ohio, is built around smarter business solutions, faster thinking and better results for clients. To that end, hfa announces the promotions of three associates to newly created leadership positions. This agency realignment was made in order to strengthen the hfa team’s already-strong ability to anticipate clients’ needs and look more strategically at clients’ businesses.

In their new positions, hfa marketing veterans Keith Busch, Kevin Kinsley and Matt McCallum will strengthen the business-solutions, leadership and marketing communications capabilities of the hfa team.

“Having a dedicated and talented team is vital to serving our clients strategically and effectively and helping them grow market share,” said Jack DeLeo, president/CEO of hfa. “We are pleased to announce the creation of new positions to enable hfa to better serve our clients. At the same time, the promotions of Keith, Kevin and Matt recognize their hard work and accomplishments.”

Busch has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president client services/business development, by which he will lead hfa’s account service team while also leveraging his experience in helping the agency gain additional accounts. Busch’s extensive marketing background will bolster hfa’s account service group with even stronger business solutions for clients’ marketing communications campaigns and programs.

Busch will oversee all aspects of hfa’s client service team, including this team’s involvement with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Recently, he has overseen a series of national, integrated product launches for Goodyear. All of these launches, which were targeted to dealers and consumers, exceeded sales goals.

Busch joined hfa in 1998. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of Akron and is a member of the American Marketing Association. He and his wife live in Cuyahoga Falls.

Kinsley, who has been promoted to the newly created position of supervisor for building products business development, will add his exceptional knowledge of building products, as well as consumer (B-to-C) and business-to-business (B-to-B) accounts, to help build hfa’s building products account base.

Kinsley’s vast building products marketing experience, which includes numerous successes with B-to-C and B-to-B in-depth research and marketing programs, enables him to bring a wealth of knowledge and broad range of business solutions to potential hfa clients. His promotion is a continuation of his oversight of account development within hfa’s building products initiative.

Kinsley, who joined hfa in 1990, is a member of The Home Builders Association serving Portage & Summit Counties; National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association; National Association of the Remodeling Industry; American Marketing Association and Cleveland Advertising Association. He graduated from The University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications. He and his wife and children are Uniontown residents.

McCallum has been promoted to the newly created position of director talent development. McCallum will benefit hfa’s clients by creating a talent-development program that will better identify opportunities for building the agency’s knowledge base.

Historically, hfa has had excellent talent retention and employee recruitment. To make these efforts even stronger, McCallum will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that enhance the proven leadership capabilities, efficiencies and productivity of hfa associates. McCallum’s understanding of all functions of the business will enable him to develop education programs that provide superior intellectual benefit to hfa associates.

McCallum, who joined hfa in 1998, graduated from Mount Union College (Ohio) with a bachelor’s degree in international business and economics. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and Advertising Federation of Greater Akron. He resides in Akron.

“Our entire team strives to support our clients’ marketing programs and campaigns in every way possible in helping them achieve their business goals,” DeLeo said. “When companies find the right match in a marketing communications agency, their agency selection should pay off for them in increased revenue, marketing efficiencies and return on investment. Therefore, companies need an agency that will get up to speed quickly and require a minimum amount of education about their business. And that’s just one of the benefits companies gain by choosing the hfa team.”
