(PRWEB) November 3, 2006 -- In a great new book, "Wild Men, Wild Alaska," big game guide Rocky McElveen relates some crazy experiences with famous people he has guided.
Master Guide Rocky McElveen writes about the impacts of the wilderness on his clients and their reactions to the intensity of Alaska. One fascinating story deals with an un-planned confrontation between his client, former President George Bush, and an angry Alaskan fishing guide.
In the chapter, "What do you do when the president breaks your pole?" Rocky writes about former President George Bush who was fishing for king salmon on the Holitna River and having a great time when suddenly they were confronted by two Hungarians and a very angry guide in another boat. This chapter is only one of many examples of some of the unique things that have happened to Rocky and some of the celebrities he has hunted and fished with.
In the above story, the "other" guide demanded that Bush "give him a job in the interior of Alaska" and began swearing like a sailor at the president. He was very rude to President Bush. The situation became very intense. Rocky McElveen, the President's Guide, took quick action. Read the full story in his new and amazing book, "Wild Men, Wild Alaska."
Rocky was very impressed with the way President Bush handled the incident and how he responded. Go to "WildMenWildAlaska.Com" for further.
