Indie Label Inks Deal with Two Up and Coming Publishing Companies
Worldwide Indie Label Global Records announced a deal with publishing companies Karz/Monte' Music and Lyrical Passion Entertainment. Both companies will be joining partnerships for Global's new artists starting in 2007.
Orlando, FL and Munich, Germany (PRWEB) November 10, 2006 -- With the growing pains now behind them, new Indie label Global Records has signed two young publishing companies to grow along with the label.
Karz/Monte' Music is a music publishing company founded by songwriter/producer Reggie Washington. It features independent songwriters looking for a way to spread their talent worldwide.
Songs from the Karz/Monte' "Where Hit Trax Begin" Music Catalog have played and have continued play on many network TV shows such as: "Young and the Restless," "The District" (CBS), "All My Children," "One Life To Live," "The George Lopez Show" (ABC), "Soul Food," "Brotherhood" (Showtime) and many more.
Second Publishing Company President Raquel D. Bailey, a.k.a "Lyrical (L.P) Passion," born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Jamaica, New York, brings a blend of R&B, pop, hip hop & reggae music laced with love. Passion says she likes to define her music as, "Something you've never heard before, but it sounds so familiar. With every song I write, I remember that there's nothing like great old school jams. They make listeners 'Reminisce' ... Much of today's music is missing that and I want to replenish that with time."
From songwriting to making beats, mix tapes and lacing tracks, there's no telling what will come next from Lyrical Passion Entertainment. She's written for various artists, including country singer Jennifer Day. She yearns to be a respected name that leaks through the music scene like Quincy Jones, Barry J. Eastmond, Babyface and Ne-yo. It's undeniable -- Passion's determined and has the qualities of a successful entrepreneur. Her lyrical stamina will move mountains.
Global Records Artists include 10-time Grammy nominee "Bunny Rugs" (lead singer of the famed reggae group "Third World"), whose remake of his classic hit "Now That We Found Love" climbed to number five in the World Chart off his new album "What A World" and number one charting R&B power sensation Sisaundra Lewis with her song "Shout."
"We are looking forward for these companies to bring us songs that appeal to all audiences and grow with our label as we look forward into the future." Label President Bob Rivera.
