Dishing Desserts Backstage with Chef Kit

This year though, she’ll stroll the red carpet with Schwan’s Executive Chef Christian “Kit” Kiefer, CEC, CCE, FMP. The AMA’s 34th annual show, hosted for the third time by Jimmy Kimmel, airs Tuesday, November 21st on ABC-TV.
Move over Carrie Underwood, Mrs. Smith’s aims to steal the show through sheer sweetness. America’s favorite pie-maker is hosting a backstage celebrity lounge filled with an assortment of “top ten” desserts. And she’s flown Chef Kit out to dazzle her guests with special, easy-to-make desserts that are perfect for celebrity and holiday entertaining. Chef Kit has appeared regularly on national television and is an author and public speaker.
“Mrs. Smith’s fans can be found everywhere,” said Chef Kit. “They all love the buttery crust of our fruit and pumpkin pies and classic cobblers that are so perfect during the holiday season. For the awards show we’ll serve some of these fabulous desserts in the form of a dessert-tini presented in stem martini glasses. Mrs. Smith’s will take center stage in the official AMA celebrity gift bag as well, awarding a year’s supply of pies to all the celebrity presenters, performers, and nominees. Or, they can opt for one of Mrs. Smith’s newest releases such as Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie; Cinnabon Coffee Cake; Cinnabon Pecan Coffee Cake; Deep Dish Berry Burst; or Blackberry Crisp.
