Wounded Hero Accepts Soldier Field Kiss
Army Sgt. Brian Anderson, of Rolling Meadows. Illinois, who lost three limbs to a road side bomb in Iraq will be honored by Marine Corp Color Guard at the world premier of Kiss of a Dolphin, the critically acclaimed new book by Dreams for Kids founder and president Tom Tuohy to be held in the Cadillac Room in Soldier Field Tuesday November 28 2006 at 6:00 P.M.
The event marks the global expansion of Dreams for Kids, an 18 year Chicago based children's charity whose mission is to end the isolation of children who suffer from the disabilities of poverty and physical and mental challenges.

The only civilian air jet team in the United States, piloted by retired Air Force Top Gun fighter and Thunderbird pilots will appear at Soldier Field to officially announce they will now be flying for the children of the world. The pilots will introduce video footage of Dreams for Kids Vice President, J.J. O'Connor, a quadriplegic, being flown in jet formation as a tribute to its new mission and will unveil the models of the four new Dreambird jets. A fifth jet will be added to their air shows across the country to fly 12 children with disabilities in every show. A special VIP Children's Tent will hold hundreds of children to witness their Dreambird jets fly. All show revenue will be donated for the expansion of Dreams for Kids programming across the world and to spread disability awareness.
The Soldier Field event will be a spectacular multi cultural, multi ability event showcasing the organizations community programs and also feature the many adaptive sports initiated by Dreams for Kids, which have given children an opportunity to play sports for the first time in their lives. Hundreds of the children who have realized their dreams will be in attendance to demonstrate at kiosk displays.
Many of the inspiring individuals featured in Kiss of a Dolphin will be in attendance, including Clara Kirk, winner of the Jefferson and Presidents Award and founder of Englewood's Clara's House shelter for homeless or abused woman and children, Michael Jordan's long time friend and disabilities right advocate Carmen Villafane, and Secretary of State Jesse White and his world famous Tumblers.
Special guests and appearances include Chicago Bears record setting place kicker Robbie Gould, the Shannon Rovers Bagpipe Band, and singers Catherine O'Connell, Will Smith, Jack Mulopulous, and the diArte Trio Jazz Band.
