Something Big is Happening in Norfolk

A pitch with a difference by local marketing team beats off stiff competition to win a £140k marketing contract for Breckland Rev Project.

Norwich, Norfolk (PRWEB) November 30, 2006 -- Naked Marketing and zoomzoom, two Norfolk based creative companies specialising in Marketing and Web Services, beat off stiff competition from agencies locally and nationally to win a £140k contract to supply marketing services for phase one of the Rural Enterprise Valley (Rev) in Breckland.

Whilst the two companies have used each others services in the past this was the first time they have presented jointly to win business. They won the business through their creative thoughts, technical knowledge and off line marketing experience across a broad range of marketing disciplines.

The Internet will play a big part in communicating Rev messages. Not only will it allow us to establish and grow a community of interested parties but we will be able to send out global messages to potential investors in the scheme. This has worked very successfully for some of our other clients and will give the scheme a very quick and cost effective method of communication
The Rev project will be a major economic driver for Breckland and Norfolk in the advanced engineering and motorsport business sectors over the coming years. Phase one will quickly establish six different project areas to include business broker and skills support, awareness of the Thetford Enterprise Park (TEP) - a new business park to be built on the A11 as well as encourage inward investment for Thetford and the surrounding areas from local and national organisations.

Naked Marketing and zoomzoom will be creating an overall awareness campaign and establishing the Rev brand under the heading "something big is happening in Norfolk" as well as working on each of the individual project areas to engage businesses in communication, business growth and investing in the defined area.

The project is a massive boost for Norfolk. Breckland's economic development team have worked hard to secure funding and support from different sources, with major backing from Breckland District Council, EEDA, Norfolk County Council, The Crown Estate and European Objective 2. From now until early summer 2008 the project team at Breckland Council will be working with Naked Marketing and zoomzoom to deliver a marketing campaign both online and offline that will establish Breckland as the place to do business in advanced engineering and motorsport.

"We are thrilled to win the marketing contract for Rev. Many of our clients live and work in Breckland and the feeling in the area is the investment will give a major boost for all types of businesses. To be given the opportunity to work on such an important project for Norfolk is exciting and challenging and we are confident of our resources and capabilities to deliver a creative and targeted campaign using technology and marketing activity, " Ben Handford, MD Naked Marketing.

"The Internet will play a big part in communicating Rev messages. Not only will it allow us to establish and grow a community of interested parties but we will be able to send out global messages to potential investors in the scheme. This has worked very successfully for some of our other clients and will give the scheme a very quick and cost effective method of communication," Terry Pigott, MD zoomzoom.

Rural Enterprise Valley

The Rural Enterprise Valley (Rev) is a project designed to meet the needs of small to medium size businesses of up to 250 employees (SME'S) in the advanced engineering and motor sport sector in Breckland and Norfolk. Phase one has become and will run until early summer 2008.

The overall Rev project (Phase one) has been divided into six project areas Business Broker, Business Grant, Skills and Recruitment Broker, Youth and Graduate Employment, Thetford Enterprise Park and Marketing and Inward Investment.

Whilst the six projects will work successfully in their own right to benefit sector SME's, it is the linkage of these projects which will really promote the growth and sustainability of the sector community in Breckland and Norfolk.

Naked Marketing Background

Naked Marketing Ltd. was founded in 2002 through the ideas, experiences and frustrations of Ben Handford and David Lloyd. Both had experienced working in marketing agencies and both were convinced that creativity should be focused on the client's project, not their invoice.

Naked's philosophy is simple: always add more value than you charge. They achieve this by listening to the client, understanding their needs, respecting their view and asking lots of questions. Naked believe that honesty and integrity, coupled with creativity and confidence make for complete client satisfaction.

zoomzoom Background

zoomzoom Ltd. launched in 2000 and since then has prided themselves on delivering creative solutions that actually work for clients, gaining a reputation for providing a good service which delivers innovatively designed and well built websites.

With any project undertaken the process and thinking are the same, approaching website design with the following in mind; sites must be quick, clear, easy to navigate and concisely portray a client's main objective. Most importantly, websites should be a real benefit to the clients business or business procedures.

From an initial two man partnership zoomzoom now has eighteen staff specialising in the various aspects of online marketing, design, computer programming, project management, PR, marketing and events.
