CRB, INC.® makes major announcements at CRS-38 Press Conference.
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) December 7, 2006 -- At a press conference this morning, Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. ® made the following announcements regarding Country Radio Seminar (CRS-38), which will be held February 28 through March 2, 2007 at the Nashville Convention Center.
The artists confirmed to perform at the CRS-38 New Faces Show on March 2nd, 2007 are Rodney Atkins, Eric Church, Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift. Kix Brooks, Host of American Country Countdown syndicated by ABC Radio Networks, will host the show. The New Faces Show (sponsored by Radio and Records, ABC Radio Networks and The Country Music Association) will include 20-minute performances by the five chosen artists. The announcement was made by Equity recording artists Little Big Town.
Ronnie Milsap will be the focus of the CRS-38 "Life of a Legend" Panel on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. WSM-AM personality Eddie Stubbs will moderate the panel, which takes an in-depth look at an artist whose music stands the test of time and whose impact is still evident in today's most popular artists.
As previously announced, Jon Bon Jovi will deliver the CRS-38 Keynote Speech. The Q&A, which will be moderated by WSIX-FM's Gerry House, will take place Thursday, March 1 at 8:30 a.m. The event is sponsored by Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40.

CRB, Inc. is proud to present the CRB Career Achievement Award to Country icon Kenny Rogers. The award will be presented to Rogers at the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at the Nashville Convention Center. The award, established in 1998, is presented to a deserving artist who has been a major influence on the growth and success of Country Radio.
The CRB President's Award will also be presented at the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony. This year's recipient is "The Mayor of Music Row," CRB Board Director Emeritus, Charlie Monk. The President's Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the marketing, production, growth and development of the Country Radio Seminar and the multiple services that CRB provides to Country Radio and music communities.
The BMI WCRS Live! Showcase will feature acoustic performances by Sarah Buxton, Pat Green, Mac Davis and the show's host, Jeffery Steele. BMI WCRS Live! is scheduled for 4:15 - 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2007. Talent for the ASCAP KCRS Live! Showcase on Wednesday, February 28 has not yet been finalized.
Capitol Record's luncheon on Friday, March 2 will feature performances by Trace Adkins and Luke Bryan.
