Racefanonline.com Launches Re-Designed Website

Racefanonline.com had a very successful launch in September 2005 and the excitement for the 2006 season is huge. Racefanonline.com has spent the off-season re-designing the web site to incorporate the suggestions made by the sites loyal fans.

(PRWEB) February 8, 2006 -- Race fans far and wide are working themselves into a frenzy because the start of the 2006 Nascar Nextel Cup Season is just around the corner. The possibilities are endless and the uncertainty is dizzying.

Will Tony Stewart repeat?
Will Jeff Gordon and Junior make “The Chase” in 2006?
Will Kurt Busch stay out of trouble?
Will Kasey Kahne’s sophomore slump extend into his junior year?
Will Amanda Beard dump Carl Edwards?
Will Lowe’s finally fix the track?
Will Rusty Wallace find Victory Lane in a “retired” shortened season?

Racefanonline.com, your number one source for race related media is on a mission to help answer these questions and more through fan submitted pictures, videos and stories.

Racefanonline.com had a successful launch in September 2005 and the excitement for the 2006 season is huge. Racefanonline.com has spent the off-season re-designing the web site to incorporate the suggestions made by the sites loyal fans.

The main goals for the re-design were to create a fun and competitive environment and a fast and easy user experience. To these ends, racefanonline.com has created a proprietary scoring system (RFO Score) to track the most popular submissions. The RFO Scores are updated in real-time so the submitters can watch their submission scores rise. Also, the redesigned site incorporates text-based links to pictures, videos and stories. These text-based links have made the web site significantly faster. In addition, related thumbnail pictures are displayed under the featured image and also in the popup window when a picture is selected. The thumbnails allow the users to view 5 pictures at once. Lastly, we have added hotlinks on the left side margin. The hotlinks are a way to share favorite fan related sites with everyone. These new features are a great step in the right direction.

Racefanonline.com thanks all race fans for supporting the web site and looks forward to sharing race experiences for many years to come.
