Fargo, ND (PRWEB) February 8, 2006 -- Costco Wholesale Corporation recently purchased an additional 26 Branick Nitrogen Tire Inflation Systems for their Costco de Mexico Wholesale locations. Branick completed installations at the end of 2005.

Gil Schoener, President of Branick Industries, Inc., and Manny Manos, of Westesco Distribution, announced additional Nitrogen units have also been recently purchased by Costco for installation in the United Kingdom. The Mexican roll out came one year after Costco installed over 400 Branick nitrogen units in their US and Canadian Tire Center locations.

Robert Moyer, Tire Director of Costco, said, “We continue to be committed to the use of Nitrogen for all of our tire customers because of the many benefits it provides, including better gas mileage. We also remain committed to Branick.”

U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan (D), North Dakota committee member of Energy and Natural Resources, stated, “I commend Costco for being a leader in the use of Nitrogen for tire inflation. We all know properly inflated tires save fuel, which is critically imperative with the current energy situation.”

Costco currently operates 460 warehouses, including 338 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 65 in Canada, 16 in the United Kingdom, five in Korea, four in Taiwan, five in Japan and 27 in Mexico. The Company also operates Costco Online, an electronic commerce web site, at www.costco.com and at www.costco.ca in Canada.
