The Write 4 Hope Blue's Festival is Coming to Simi Valley on Saturday April 29th, 2006
The largest blues festival between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara is coming to Simi Valley this spring. On Saturday, April 29th 2006, the inaugural, Write 4 Hope Blues Festival, will take place at Oak Park in Simi Valley from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Write 4 Hope is a (501c) non-profit charitable organization providing support for local homeless and battered women's shelters. All proceeds will benefit the charity.
Simi Valley, CA (PRWEB) February 9, 2006 -- The largest blues festival between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara is coming to Simi Valley this spring. On Saturday, April 29th 2006, the inaugural, Write 4 Hope Blues Festival, will take place at Oak Park in Simi Valley from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Write 4 Hope is a (501c) non-profit charitable organization providing support for local homeless and battered women's shelters. All proceeds will benefit the charity.
The Celebrity guest host will be well-known Hollywood character actor, Mickey Jones, who will be on hand along with DJ's Leo Shumaker and Gary "The Wagman" Wagner from N2BN.org ,which will be providing a live audio web cast of the event as well.
World class blues acts headlining the event are B.B. Chung King and the Buddaheads; Michael John and the Bottom Line; The Delgado Brothers; Nelson Adelard; Forced Call; The Jeff Jensen Band and the J.D. Casey Band.

Oak Park is located at 901 Quimisa Dr. with additional event parking at Moorpark College and a shuttle service provided by Simi Valley Chrysler Dodge. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under with children under 2 being admitted free.
