The Grand Prize is Two Tickets to the 2007 Nascar Nextel Cup Race of Your Choice and a Tailgate Party Sponsored by racefanonline.com

The start of the 2006 Nascar Nextel Cup Season is just around the corner. Racefanonline.com has spent the off-season developing a unique contest that will reward submitters for sending in pictures, videos and stories that are fun and interesting to other race fans.

(PRWEB) February 10, 2006 -- The start of the 2006 Nascar Nextel Cup Season is just around the corner. Racefanonline.com has spent the off-season developing a unique contest that will reward submitters for sending in pictures, videos and stories that are fun and interesting to other race fans.

Here is how the fantasy season contest works:

Participants in the contest get points by submitting pictures, videos and stories. Based on how many pictures, videos and stories that are submitted and how popular they become on the site, points will be awarded to participant. The participant with the most points in a given week (Monday-Sunday) will be the winner of that week’s race and be awarded 180 points (just like the winner of a Nascar race). The second place finisher will get 170 points (just like the second place finisher of a Nascar race) and so on.

In addition, bonus points will be awarded for the most popular cumulative submissions (10 points for the most popular and 5 points for the second most popular).

These points will be tracked throughout the season and after the 26th race, the top ten finishers will make the “Chase” and compete for the grand prize. If you do not make the “Chase” or if you are late to join the contest, you can still win prizes by winning individual weekly races.

In order to give yourself the best chance at winning the Grand Prize, it is important that you participate from the beginning of the season.

Week 1 (Monday – Sunday)– February 13th-February 19th
Week 2 (Monday – Sunday)- February 20th-February 26th
Week 3 (Monday – Sunday)- February 27th-March 5thth
Etc.

The Grand Prize
Two tickets to the 2007 Nascar Nextel Cup race of your choice and a tailgate party sponsored by racefanonline.com.

Weekly “Victory Lane” winners
Purse money. The purse for individual races will range from $15-$35 depending on the prestige of the race.

All race fans have to do to get started is submit pictures, videos and stories to racefanonline.com and also provide a valid email address so racefanonline.com can assign participants a unique contest ID to score the contest.
