North Coast Motorcycle Wins Two Major Industry Awards

A $2.3 million motorcycle dealer in Toledo, Ohio has received national recognition. North Coast sells and services Triumph, Big Dog, American Ironhorse, Vengeance and Hard Bike motorcycles.

Toledo, OH (PRWEB) March 7, 2006 -- For the third year in a row, Dealernews magazine has named North Coast Motorcycle of Rossford, Ohio as one of North America’s Top 100 Dealers. The prestigious Top 100 Dealer presentation occurred February 19 at the 2006 Dealer Expo in Indianapolis. North Coast Motorcycle, which opened in July 2003, has actually been selected for this important award every single year of operation.

“We are really pleased to be continuously recognized by Dealernews magazine” said Mark Moses, general manager and one of the owners of North Coast. “This award is a tribute to our outstanding staff and customers who have helped us work toward our vision of what a great motorcycle dealership can be. As a side benefit, North Coast is becoming established as a true destination dealership throughout the Midwest.”

How big is this honor? For perspective, consider the fact that there are over 14,000 motorcycle dealers in the U.S., according to the Motorcycle Industry Council. This places North Coast among the top 0.7% of all dealers. The award is based on facility and showroom design, merchandising, marketing, advertising, promotion, service capabilities and community involvement. More information is available at www.northcoastmc.com.

North Coast is also well known for its outstanding service department which specializes in all manner of American V-twins as well as Triumphs. On any given day, a number of Harley-Davidson machines will be scheduled for service alongside v-twin machines from Big Dog, American IronHorse, Indian, Vengeance, Titan, Bourget, Thunder Mountain, and others. A number of North Coast technicians are also specialists in delivering excellent Triumph service.

In fact Triumph Motorcycle of America recently recognized North Coast Motorcycle as the ONLY 5-Star Triumph dealer in Ohio. This award is based on a comprehensive assessment of many factors with the major focus on customer satisfaction. Elements include product knowledge, sales and technician training, service excellence and direct customer feedback. “Triumph is a very big part of our business and we’re grateful for this important recognition” said Mark Moses. “With their broad product range, design and engineering excellence, Triumph is building some absolutely amazing world class machines. We really believe that Triumph has a motorcycle for everyone—new riders to experienced veterans. We expect Triumph to continue to gain a much bigger share of the market in the years to come.”

North Coast is in some very exclusive company. The closest Triumph 5-Star dealer is 300 miles away in Traverse City, Michigan and there are no 5-Star Triumph dealers at all in Indiana and few in Pennsylvania. Owners Don Harbaugh and Mel Harbaugh are very pleased. “We continue to strongly believe in the overall direction of North Coast Motorcycle in terms of our ongoing commitment to customer service. It is very encouraging to know that in only our third year, this dealership is setting a very high standard for continued improvement and excellence.”

North Coast Motorcycle is located on Clark Drive in Rossford, just off SR 795, where I-75 meets the Ohio Turnpike. North Coast opened in late-July, 2003 and is an authorized dealer for the entire Triumph line from cruisers like the Rocket III, America and Speedmaster to sport bikes like the Tiger, Sprint, Daytona, and Speed Triple to classics like the Bonneville and Scrambler models.

North Coast also offers powerful and beautiful American V-twin custom cruisers from Big Dog and American Ironhorse. Big Dog features the K-9, Chopper, Ridgeback, Mastiff and Pitbull models while American Ironhorse models include the LSC, Texas Chopper, Slammer, Legend, Outlaw and Tejas.

North Coast is also one of the very first dealerships in the country to offer the new custom Hard Bikes motorcycle brand and concept. Hard Bikes offers customers the opportunity to specify every single component of their custom motorcycle, which is then built exactly to a customer’s spec. Showroom simulators help guide customers through the custom-order process. For more information, visit www.northcoastmc.com.
