Bring Back Garth Website Petition Shooting For 1 Million Names

BringBackGarth.com is well on it's way of reaching it's goal of 1 million names. The purpose of the petition is to send a message to Garth Brooks, letting him know how much he is missed by his fans. Brooks retired from music years ago at the top of his career and the fans don't want to let him go.

Fullerton, CA (PRWEB) March 21, 2006 -- BringBackGarth.com states on its website that they have "created this website in the hope of assembling a group of Garth's fans....large enough to make an impression on the man himself." What will it take to get Garth Brook's attention? BringBackGarth.com is hoping that 1 Million names may do the trick.

Since Garth Brooks retired from the music business back in 2000, a lot of fans deeply feel the void he left in country music. The release of Garth Brook's new CD box set, which contains previously unreleased material, has only served to fuel the fire.

"While we respect and admire Garth's decision to stay home with his family," says BringBackGarth.com founder, Cyndi Morrison, "It's our hope that he would maybe come back for perhaps a couple shows a year. That way, he can still be with his children and us." From reading the messages that people are posting on the website, it seems she is not the only one that feels this way.

"One Million Names, that's our goal," says Morrison. "We already have people signing in from all over the world. With over 100 million records sold and fans worldwide, a million names should be no problem, it's just a matter of letting them all know what we're doing."

The website petition has already gathered more than 1600 signatures since it began in November 2005, and is growing daily.
