Maplewood, New Jersey Company, Navy Blue Inc., Announces Opening of New e-ArtNow Internet Art Gallery in Support of Young Artists

Navy Blue Incorporated, located in Maplewood, New Jersey, announces the opening of its new website for its corporate division ArtNow - Modern Art Investing. The new electronic art gallery web-site name is e-ArtNow.com. This new electronic art gallery is focused on modern art only, including famous named artists like Picasso, Hockney and Delaunay, developing contemporary listed artists like Hughto, Steiner and Flora, and exciting young artists like Turner, Marinho and Bogdan. While the store is still under development, with improvements upcoming each day, opening the site is a very important step for the owners of Navy Blue Inc., Lurdes and John Nadon.

(PRWEB) April 3, 2006 -- Navy Blue Incorporated, located in Maplewood, New Jersey, announces the opening of its new website for its corporate division ArtNow - Modern Art Investing. The new electronic art gallery web-site name is e-ArtNow.com.

On this new site people interested in fine-art will find original oil and acrylic paintings, lithographs, serigraphs (silk-screens), mixed media and drawings. Proceeds from the sales of these artworks will be divided into two parts. Roughly 20% of profits will be used to maintain and build the site in quality. A planned 80% will be used to provide additional support to emerging artists in the North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.

This new gallery on the internet is including in the start-up of e-ArtNow a donated variety of the owner’s own collected works, by artists like Miro, Picasso, Arp, Masson, Delaunay, and other modern masters to help provide start-up funding. At the same time, e-ArtNow is releasing an assortment of truly outstanding artworks by both upcoming contemporary artists with established success in international exhibitions and sales, and by artists getting started from around the world.

The owners of e-Art Now have purchased pieces of art from around the world. In some cases the pieces purchased have been by well established artists. But, as much as possible co-owner John Nadon has carefully searched and found outstanding talented young artists just getting started. Talent that has allowed increases of ten to twelve times in average sales value in a matter of three to four years, as such artists go from unknown and without gallery support to well represented or, given the internet, successful self-representation, resulting in such significant average price increases on the market. The sales of such artworks now by e-ArtNow is to develop new support for such artists while creating funding for further development of other young artists.

“I have a variety of professional responsibilities with a full time business development position with a growing business in the lighting industry, with responsibilities with our own companies Navy Blue Inc. and Design by Design LLC, and managing sales of my own paintings on the internet with my store on e-Bay, which is named Modern Art Investing”, commented co-owner John Nadon. “But, I am happy to be doing all this work getting e-ArtNow started up and open on-line. Nothing is more interesting, more enjoyable personally for me than looking for and supporting truly talented young artists. I hope others, who love art like I do, find in this new site the same enjoyment and satisfaction that I do.

Especially for those sophisticated art-lovers that can appreciate not just buying a true work of art, but having their purchase price going to helping the same artist they have purchased a piece by, or helping another similarly talented young artist to continue in their successful professional development.” John Nadon began selling his own paintings in the early 1970’s as a means of paying his way through college. He began seriously painting again in the late 1990’s after years of executive responsibilities and a lack of free time. While not having time to paint himself during this time, he managed on business trip after business trip, traveling around the world, to discover in private galleries and on the street wonderful purchase opportunities of outstanding artwork. He also developed direct contacts with artists, galleries, and agents.

With the internet he has furthered his connections as well, and has developed outstanding research capabilities, increasing further the ability to spot investment opportunities and the discovery of new and exciting talent here in the United States and internationally.

“We’ve been very fortunate with our regular investments having over 25% a year in returns”, noted Lurdes Nadon, “but, we have managed art investment returns of well over three or four times that much per year with artwork. This not including the personal enjoyment we get everyday from the over 60 pieces of our collection that we have on the walls of our home in Maplewood, New Jersey”. The mission of e-ArtNow is to help people to first find high quality art at reasonable pricing, and second to have such art purchased be increasingly valuable to the buyer as an investment. Third, and of equal importance, is the continuing support of young artists’ professional development by taking e- ArtNow profits and buying more of their art.

Design by Design was started in 2003 and Navy Blue Inc. was started in 2005. This new division, e-Art Now was created in 2006 as the internet division of Art Now – Modern Art Investing, founded in late 2005. President and co-owner of both Navy Blue Inc. and Design by Design LLC, Lurdes Nadon, is a well known, independent graphics designer with accounts from Maplewood, New Jersey to San Francisco, California. Her husband and co-owner, John Nadon, is the Business Development Manager for the new LED lighting technology company Colormotion, a division of the Jesco Lighting Group in Glendale, New York. John is also an independent artist with National Fine Arts Title and EBSQart COA listings.
