One of Hollywood's Premier Casting Companies Relocates to the Berkshires

Great Barrington, MA (PRWEB) April 12, 2006 -- After nearly 20 years in Hollywood, Commercial Casting Director Jenny O’Haver has relocated her company, O’Haver + Company, to the Berkshires.

During her tenure in Los Angeles, Jenny cast hundreds of national and international commercials, as well as television shows, films, print and voice over. She most recently handled casting for Pepsi’s upcoming international commercial featuring pop star Christina Aguilera and a Coors Light commercial that featured Kid Rock. She has collaborated with other top corporations such as Visa, McDonald’s, Coca Cola, Verizon, Home Depot and Nike, to name a few. Jenny has also worked as a creative producer, developing projects for HBO and AMC.

New technology, particularly video conferencing and high speed Internet, allows Jenny to continue to cast in Los Angeles virtually from Western Massachusetts.

In addition to her commercial casting work, Jenny will also teach on-camera audition workshops locally. The audition workshops, which will be open to actors of all levels, are designed to hone auditioning skills. Workshops will be limited to 12 students and last approximately four hours. They will include an on-camera videotaped audition that will be constructively critiqued, a review of actors’ pictures and resumes, and suggestions on wardrobe, make-up, hair and props.

“I love to work with actors and I genuinely look forward to offering my experience to up-and-coming talent in the Albany and Hudson Valley,” said Jenny. “The audition workshops will provide training, first-hand insights into the industry, and include important feedback that will help actors in real casting interviews.”

Audition workshops will be scheduled periodically in Albany and throughout the Capital Region beginning in April. Specific dates and locations will be announced.
