Grassroots Racers Can Earn Their Part of $6 Million with Help from National Speed Sport News and The Contingency Connection
The Contingency Connection and National Speed Sport News agree to a three-year partnership to connect a $6 million sponsorship posting from Contingency Connection manufacturers to racers at participating race tracks.
Harrisburg, NC (PRWEB) April 12, 2006 -– The Contingency Connection and National Speed Sport News at http://www.NationalSpeedSportNews.com have announced a three-year partnership to connect Contingency Connection manufacturers to racers via participating race tracks.
The Contingency Connection at http://www.contingencyconnection.com has 150 participating performance brands offering more than $6 million in postings for 2006. “We have significant participation from companies all over the country, and we hope to continue to expand the program so we can reach more racers and more grassroots oval tracks,” stated Jackie Ressa, president of the Contingency Connection.
The Contingency Connection administers the only grassroots contingency program focused on independent race tracks. National Speed Sports News is the weekly news source for all racers, especially those just entering the sport, and will serve as the focal point for Contingency Connection’s communication efforts.
Starting in the May 3 issue of National Speed Sport News, the Contingency Connection will sponsor the paper’s weekly “Racing Nation” section. As the racing season heats up, this grassroots department will list the winners from more than 180 oval tracks each week. Participating Contingency Connection tracks will be highlighted to let racers know which race tracks are involved in the program.
“National Speed Sport News got involved in this program because we are the only place the Contingency Connection could really get its message out to racers and race tracks because we’re weekly and offer extensive coverage of grassroots racing,” said Publisher Jim Savas. “Our national reach makes it easier to get the word out to all parties.”
National Speed Sport News will offer Contingency Connection manufacturers the opportunity to display their logos within the “Racing Nation” editorial pages while celebrating drivers who win using specific products. Manufacturers who become part of the “Performance Edge” advertising section of the paper will be asked to run a win ad once a month to support one or more racers who win using their products.
“It is our goal to aggressively push this program so that grassroots racers will buy more products from the manufacturers involved,” Ressa noted.
National Speed Sport News offers the nation’s most complete racing coverage each and every week. Every Series. Every Track. Every Week. For more information, please visit http://www.nationalspeedsportnews.com.
