Driving Sports Launches New DVD-Based Video Magazine with Emphasis on Extreme Driving, Racing and Rallysport

Driving Sports announced today the launch of Driving Sports DVD, a new subscription-based video magazine dedicated to extreme motorsports and the passion of driving. Each disc will include a variety of sporting events and driving challenges, plus brutally honest new car reviews. A free preview is available at www.drivingsportsvideo.com.

Redmond, WA (PRWEB) April 13, 2006 -- Driving Sports, a division of MediaSpigot LLC, announced today the launch of Driving Sports DVD, a new subscription-based video magazine dedicated to extreme motorsports and the passion of driving. Each disc will include a variety of sporting events and driving challenges, plus brutally honest new car reviews. Sample segments are already in rotation at the online streaming video “channel” dedicated to the series: www.drivingsportsvideo.com

“Over 50,000 people have enjoyed our Driving Sports Video Webcasts,” commented Ryan Douthit, Director of MediaSpigot LLC. “The number one request from viewers was that we improve the viewing experience. Today, that means DVD.” He continued, “with the proliferation of large viewing screens and big sound systems, we’ll deliver Performance Rally, Autocross, Track and Drifting action into living rooms like never before. We’ve been shooting in High Definition Video since Day One, so our quality already well exceeds even the DVD medium.”

We have several project cars kicking around, including a couple Subarus, a Mazda and whatever else Ryan drags back to the office
Similar to a traditional print magazine, motor sports and new car coverage will be accompanied by technical “how-to” segments. “We have several project cars kicking around, including a couple Subarus, a Mazda and whatever else Ryan drags back to the office,” joked Jeff Zurschmeide, Editor in Chief of DrivingSports.com, the Web-based magazine counterpart to Driving Sports Video. “With his new ability to break cars on camera, there’s no telling what he’s going to do next!”

Automotive enthusiasts can either visit www.drivingsportsvideo.com/subscribe.html or call 1-800-DVD-0566, to immediately sign-up for the subscription-only DVD series. A new disc will be issued every-other-month for an annual subscription price of $29.99.
