Dr. Roice D. Luke is a professor in the nationally-ranked Department of Health Administration at the Virginia Commonwealth University. A specialist in health care system strategy and policy, Dr. Luke has authored numerous publications and has been an active speaker on a wide range of topics focused on the changing health care industry.
After studying health care systems and markets nationally for over two decades--which included a six-year, corporately-funded study of the rapidly changing health care systems and markets in the mid 1990s--Dr. Luke published the book, "Healthcare Strategy: In Pursuit of Competitive Advantage" (published by Health Administration Press).
He is currently studying integrated and regional health care systems around the world in preparation for writing his next book, entitled: "System Transformation: USA and International Strategies in Healthcare Organization and Policy".
