New Comfort Travel Vest Transforms The Plight of Flight From Discomfort To Delight

KLING TUT™ Comfort Traveler's Vest invented out of necessity, the KLING TUT™ Comfort Traveler's Vest was designed to be worn by passengers during travel in confined seating situations. It's stylish, lightweight design invites the user to wear it all the time. The vest is patterned from brushed knitted nylon for the front and an indigo blue satin denim back. It's convenient inside pockets will secure personal items, while the outer pockets are naturally placed in its design to rest your hands during those long lines at the airports. The comfort vest is a "must have for all frequent travelers."

Carol Stream, IL (PRWEB) May 2, 2006 -- Have you ever noticed that the airlines are packing customers more like sardines these days? You don't have to be stocky to figure out that comfort while traveling is out the window. Once you sit down, you can barely move, some people have to go as far as physically removing all objects from their pockets to fit between the narrow arm rests too! Additionally, it's hard to figure out what to do with your arms and hands so that you don't elbow or squeeze up against your neighbor.

Well, this was the plight of one frequent flyer, Scott Hollander, who took many business trips around the world. Due to the discomfort created by the lack of space on airplanes, Scott came up with a brilliant and simple concept for travelers of all ages, sizes, and shapes. The solution? The "Kling Tut" Comfort Travel Vest, a portable and highly fashionable vest that passengers wear which allows them to easily and effortlessly keep their hands and arms across their chest area, in a position reminiscent of the "King Tut" mummy.

It's very easy to use because, the passive portion of the vest has chest panel that are made of a Velcro compatible woven nylon fabric. The rest of the vest is made of attractive lightly iridescent blue denim. The active portion of the vest are the universal fingerless hand "mitts" which are easily placed over each hand. This arrangement lets you cross your arms over the chest area allowing one to have their arms “magically” held in place without any strain or discomfort.

The system is patented by the United States Patent & Trademark Office, i.e., # 6,817,032. The comfort vest lets you lean back in your seat and relax without worrying about knocking over your neighbor's coffee or food tray. So now, passengers can be as comfortable as King Tut in the afterlife with this new and innovative travel accessory item. As Scott likes to say, "Whether you're wide or whether you're narrow, you can rest at ease -- like mighty Pharaoh."

Though originally designed for air travel, Hollander points out that the Kling Tut has a much broader market. The Kling Tut travel vest also has uses in other mass transportation travel venues like trains, buses, SUV's, etc.

Additionally, the comfort vest has medical applications. He's also received interest from the medical field to use the Kling Tut for physical therapy uses such as people with should and arm sprains, tendonitis or people who need to keep their arms or hands in a certain position for extended periods of time. The inventor realized another use for Kling Tut during personal experiences with oral surgery and sleep dentistry. Typically, care is administered in a close quartered operational space. One would think that a patient is well appointed in a modern multi adjustable dental operating chair. However, it is also difficult to comfortably maintain lax arms and hands even on the individual arm rests.

After this realization, the inventor saw the need for expanding Kling Tut's application as a comfort accessory for MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging body scans and replacements for old fashioned neckerchief style slings. Kling Tut has been accepted and featured as an exhibitor on the www.InventionConnection.com web site, the British web site www.inventors-showcase.co.uk/ and nominated for an award in the category of new travel accessory. Additionally Hollander and Kling Tut were featured on CNBC’s travel spot by Peter Greenburg called “On The Money” and also In the Las Vegas Sun’s “In Business” by Richard Velotta.

Hollander is looking for an exclusive licensing arrangement with a company that will manufacture and distribute the Kling Tut to passengers (military, medical, sports and other users) around the world.
