Michigan Manufacturers Becoming Competitive
Zycon, an Internet marketing specialist, works with the University of Michigan to assist Michigan manufacturers.
Warren, MI (PRWEB) July 2, 2006 -- Zycon is proud to join the U of M Great Lakes Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (TAA) in the rescue of Michigan Manufacturers. TAA is a program administered by the University of Michigan and provides marketing assistance to manufacturers that have lost business and released employees due to low priced competition from off-shore companies. Any manufacturer that has had a decline in business over the past 12 months, or has had a 5% loss of employees due to foreign competition can get financial assistance for programs to improve productivity and advertising to generate new customers. TAA will help with product development, marketing plans, training, process improvement, and other projects. TAA is a cost-sharing program that helps manufacturers to create an action plan for the future. The TAA will provide matching funds for these projects.
Zycon has been selected by the U of M as one of the TAA Marketing Consultants. Zycon will participate in the marketing of the manufacturer through its online resource at www.zycon.com. Information about the TAA program may be obtained by calling the Zycon TAA representative at 888-885-2520 or through the U of M GLTAAC at 877-877-5439.
