J.Ostia Signs Production Contract with BHTC Music for Trance and House Music
The Brooklyn House and Trance Company, “BHTC Music,” has signed a music production agreement with DJ and Producer J.Ostia. His assortment of Trance and House music will be released on BHTC’s compilation LP in the fall of 2006.
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) July 22, 2006 -- After mixing music with BHTC Music for a year and a half, J.Ostia decided to venture into the production of House and Trance music. Ostia’s progressive and funky style guarantees to bring eclectic sounds to the BHTC ensemble.
J.Ostia’s taste for music dates back to his childhood days. Growing up in the early 80’s he was drawn at first to rap music. As his teenage years approached, his musical interests shifted more into the dance music genre. The sounds of Freestyle and House music became a major part of his life. They would also become a mainstay for the next decade.
By the time of the 1990’s House music had evolved. Sounds became more progressive and were heavily influenced by Techno and electronic music. Along with the changes of House music, Ostia’s tastes evolved as well. With turn of the millennium, J.Ostia’s love of music took him to the level of production.
Cultured with years of dance music sounds and beats, Ostia’s unique style is displayed when selecting music for his track lists. In addition to music selection, his unconventional mixing technique brings a funky driven style to the House music genre. J.Ostia has mastered the art of looping beats and sounds. After fine-tuning all the samples, his polished works of House and Trance sounds are completed.
Local DJ Bernie Beats explains: “I look forward to when Ostia mixes. I’ve heard him loop and mash-up tracks that most DJs would have a hard time pulling off.”
Many of the current top international House and Trance DJs have played a major influence on J.Ostia’s own music style. The most notable to mention are Tiesto, David Guetta and Eric Prydz. With many chart-topping tracks by these DJs, Ostia has utilized their success as a guideline to build onto his own achievements in Trance and House music.
BHTC’s compilation album, scheduled to be released this Fall, will include several of J.Ostia’s top Trance and House tracks. Although the production contract is for several works, BHTC Music is looking forward to working with Ostia on future projects.
