City Canyons Recording Artists The Velmas Open for Soul Asylum at Revolution Hall

The Velmas stand up and are strong for Soul Asylum as City Canyons recording artists open for legendary rockers at Revolution Hall in Troy, NY on Saturday August 5.

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 2, 2006 -- WEQX presents the storied and critically acclaimed Soul Asylum with special guests, City Canyons Records recording artists, The Velmas, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 5 at Revolution Hall on 425 River Street in Troy, New York.

The renewed and revitalized Soul Asylum with Dave Pirner and Dan Murphy, coming back the death of bass player Karl Mueller, return in a concert featuring great songs from their new album "Silver Lining". The Velmas, whose new album "Station" will be released this fall will also be showcasing glittering new material.

Tickets are $22.00 in advance, $25.00 at the door. Ages 16+. Among the other featured bands are one of New England's finest, Grand Evolution
